Three different problems, three different treatments

These get sold interchangeably and they are not interchangeable. Which one you need depends on what is actually wrong.

Keratin — for frizz and unmanageability

Smooths the cuticle and relaxes the wave. If your hair takes an hour to dry straight and reverts the moment it meets Dubai humidity, this is the one. It is a styling change more than a repair.

Hair botox — for dryness and dullness

A deep conditioning treatment that fills the gaps in a porous cuticle. Softer result than keratin, no straightening effect, and better for hair that is dry rather than frizzy.

Bond repair — for damage

Works inside the hair rather than on the surface, rebuilding the links that bleaching and heat break. This is what you want if hair is snapping, stretching when wet, or feeling gummy after lightening. It is also the treatment we most often recommend before extensions go in.

If you wear extensions

Treatments are applied to your own hair and to the extension hair, keeping product away from the bonds themselves. A treatment at the same appointment as a refit costs you no extra chair time and does more for the longevity of the hair than anything you can buy for home.

Most clients add one to their refit. It is the single best thing you can do to get several fittings out of the same set of hair.

What we will tell you honestly

No treatment reverses damage. Bond repair genuinely rebuilds structure and the difference is real, but hair that is breaking mid-length needs the broken part cutting off as well. If that is what we find, we will say so — a treatment sold as a fix for something it cannot fix just delays the haircut.
